From his involvement in the LEAD Model project with Curtin University’s Future of Work Institute, to safety leadership, and now Wellbeing & Performance Director at Pitcher Partners, Tristan’s work in occupational safety and health (OSH) is guided by research, creativity, and innovation.

At the start of her studies, Patricia Helen Rosen was focused on occupational psychology, not emerging technology. However, her interest in Human Factors and Ergonomics led her to consider the use of AI-based systems and advanced robotics to improve workplace health and wellbeing. Today she is conducting research and developing knowledge at the German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health on physical assistance systems like advanced robotics and exoskeletons that is centred on the human perspective.

For Helmut Ehnes, his passion for prevention began 35 years ago as a labour inspector with the German Social Accidence Insurance Institution and continues today through his work as the President of ISSA Mining and the Chairman of the VISION ZERO Steering Committee of ISSA. We sit down to discuss his clear and unwavering focus on prevention of harm and what Helmut Ehnes wants OSH professionals to know about collaboration, education and a mindset shift to VISION ZERO.
