If you’d like to speak or present a poster, be sure to submit an abstract here.

We’re taking abstract submissions that showcase work health and safety research, a case study, personal story or unique perspective. While reviewing abstracts, we’ll consider their use across the programme such as for a Fireside Chat or for an Alternative Ideas session.

Abstract applications close 30 November with announcements of accepted abstracts coming April 2023. Submit yours here.

For all details, including how you can participate, click here. Submissions open 1 September and close on 28 February 2023.

Our registration form asks for your dietary requirements to ensure we can provide appropriate food for all delegates. Food options will be clearly labelled during meal times.

Yes, drinking straws will be available.

Delegates are supported to use the bathroom most applicable to their gender identity. Male, female, and unisex wheelchair accessible bathrooms are available throughout the ICC Sydney.

The official languages of the World Congress are English, Spanish, French, and German. Presentations will be made in English, with translations available in the other official languages.

Further, our staff can speak a total of ~80 different languages. Delegate name badges will also include flags to encourage people who speak the same languages to connect.

Occupational safety and health can involve graphic and distressing content. Presenters will warn the audience if their presentation contains any such content, providing delegates a chance to leave the room should they wish to. We also have a counselling service available free of charge with four (4) onsite counsellors as well as a virtual counselling option.
