The Global Forum for Work Injury Insurance brings together the expertise from regional accident insurance networks. The Global Forum for Work Injury Insurance takes place as side event of the OSH World Congresses since 2017. The event is chaired by the ISSA Technical Commission on Insurance against Employment Accidents and Occupational Diseases.
Work re-design is a key control for psychosocial risks, and is increasingly highlighted in new Regulation, Codes of Practice, and International Standards on workplace health and safety management. Despite workers and managers in all roles contributing to the design of work, skill gaps remain in how to re-design for reducing psychosocial risks. This workshop introduces the Psychosocial Hazards work Re-design tool (PHReD), which aims to increase the skills and confidence of WHS and HR personnel in relation to re-designing work.
